Guntur Gosamrakshana Sangham (“the Sangham”, “we”, “us”) is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (S. No. 32 of 1938–39). This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website or make a donation, and how we look after it.

Information We Collect

When you book a seva or make a donation, we ask for:

• Your name, WhatsApp number and email address
• Your address, if you give it or ask for a tax receipt
• Your PAN, only if you ask for a tax receipt under Section 80G
• Seva details you choose to share, such as an occasion, a date or names for the sankalpam

We also keep a record of each donation: the amount, the seva, the date and the payment reference. Like most websites, we use cookies needed for the site and the seva basket to work.

Payment Information

Online payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout and are not seen or stored by the Sangham.

How We Use Your Information

• To process your donation and perform the seva you have chosen
• To send your receipt and donation updates on WhatsApp and email
• To issue tax receipts and meet our legal and accounting duties
• To answer your questions and keep a record of your donations

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We will not send you marketing messages without your permission.

Who We Share It With

We share information only with the services that help us run this website and deliver your receipts, such as our payment partner, our website host, and our email and WhatsApp messaging providers. We may also share information with government authorities when the law requires it, for example for tax filings.

How Long We Keep It

We keep donation records for as long as Indian law requires us to keep accounts and tax records. Other information is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above.

Your Choices

You can ask us to see, correct or update the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop sending you messages. Some records must be kept by law even after you ask us to delete them. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections and limited access to donor records.
